A big welcome to all new members of the Coubertin.com Olympic Collectors' Auction service and a special thank you to all members who have participated in the auction. There are now 864 active members! Coubertin.com brings together more Olympic Collectors than any other club, society or organisation in the world.

ARTICLE IN COMPUTING

A half-page article about Coubertin.com was published in the UK's leading IT newspaper, called "Computing", on the 18th of December. We were mentioned on three pages including the front-page.

HOW MANY?

Coubertin.com broke two new records in January. More than 5,000 concurrent Olympic lots including 1,000 lots of Olympic philatelic covers. Now that is a daunting number of covers to trawl through. Mainly thanks to vendors PINSY and PODIUMKING. Any ideas on how to simplify the categories to make it easier for collectors to view these covers on the back of an Olympic cover or postcard preferably posted on February 20th or from Athens in August.

SOCIETY OF OLYMPIC COLLECTORS LIBRARY

British residents, who are also members of the Society of Olympic Collectors, will be pleased to know that they can borrow books from the Society Library which is now viewable online at http://www.societyofolympiccollectors.org/

COLOGNE COLLECTORS' FAIR

Starts at 10am on February 29th at the "Deutsches Sport - und Olympia - Museum" in Cologne, Germany. At 11am they have planned the special appearance of a famous football (soccer) player. At 2pm there will be an auction of philately, postal history, literature and memorabilia. There is also a special exhibition at the museum (between 3rd and 29th February) called "Happy Birthday Football". Vendors can rent tables to sell material.

2004 LAUSANNE OLYMPIC FAIR

Between May 28 - 30 at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.
